Teen Titans to Join DC Nation in 2013 (via Toon Barn)
Cartoon Network and Warner Bros Entertainment’s DC Nation programming block will soon see the return of DC Comics’ Teen Titans in a brand new show entitled Teen Titans Go!
Scheduled to debut on 2013, Teen Titans Go! Will highlight the humorous side of being a teenage hero, and will feature the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg in their all new comedic animated adventures. According to CN, the show will be more character driven as the teen heroes focus on the funny business that happens inbetween saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision.
The series plans to show the titans in a new light, such as doing the laundry while dealing with saving the world at the same time, or when the heroes have to take Driver’s Ed in order to get a license, after a certain teenage hero wrecks the Batmobile due to an unauthorized joyride designed to impress a girl.
Teen Titans Go! will feature the principal voice cast from the original series – Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven and Hynden Walch as Starfire – Teen Titans Go! recaptures everything audiences loved about the original show, while adding laughter at the lighter side of being a super hero.
